BACK New “Ask the Author” Series Explores Arizona History

Key for a virtual talk and discussion on Wednesday, April 22 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Read the article The Right to Represent: Mexican Americans and the World War II Draft Board in Tucson, Arizona for via Project MUSE or pp. 159 – 182 in the Summer 2019 Issue. Dr. Key will give a short presentation about her research, and then open the program to discussion and questions. Dr. Key’s article explores the early civil rights activism of middle-class Mexican Americans who pushed for representation on the local Tucson draft board during World War II.
