April 6, 2021, is a big day — so save the date! We’ll be participating in #AZGivesDay, a 24-hour day of statewide giving, and would appreciate your support. Please help us spread the word — or, even better, make an early donation now at https://www.azgives.org/arizonahistoricalsociety!
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the Arizona Historical Society to close its museums’ doors to school tours and visitors. The resulting loss of revenue has been devastating. While two museums have reopened in a limited capacity, two museums remained closed. Due to less travel and tourism, we have not been able to make up our losses. In the face of these challenges, we have created a wealth of virtual programming to reach people where they are — online. We also continued to fulfill research requests, supported a completely online National History Day Arizona experience for middle school and high school students, and designed new exhibits. We need your support to continue to protect and preserve Arizona history in our museums, libraries and archives, collections, and programming.
Early giving has begun! Donate today and your donation will count towards our #AZGivesDay total on April 6.
Thank you for your support!
