Join us virtually on December 12 at 12:00 p.m. for the first program in our Arizona Biography Series: The Stuff of Legends. This program will feature Author Wynne Brown and her presentation, Following the Footsteps of The Forgotten Botanist: A Visual Journey: Sara Plummer Lemmon’s Life and Work.

Wynne Brown will describe the life and work of 1880s botanist and artist Sara Lemmon, for whom Arizona’s Mount Lemmon is named — and will focus in particular on the watercolors that have survived from Sara’s time in Southern Arizona.
