GOOD GRASS, NO WATER…Our presenter, writer/historian Susan Olberding, will share stories and rare photographs from the early days of the U.S. Forest Service in Arizona. This presentation focuses on how USFS rangers and scientists labored to support foresters, livestock operators, and lumber interests while also preserving the state’s natural resources. Olberding will be selling and signing her newest book, Stewards of the Forest and Range, following the presentation.
