The Arizona Railway Museum is dedicated to restoring, preserving, and displaying railroad artifacts and equipment with primary focus on Arizona and the Southwest. The museum is an all-volunteer operation open to the public since 1984, providing visitors an opportunity to see examples of rail travel from a bygone era. Visitors can explore inside passenger cars dating back to 1879, sit in the cab of a steam locomotive, and see displays of smaller historical artifacts. While walking around the display yard, visitors will see examples of steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, cranes, cabooses, and a trolley car.
