If you are interested in American Indian beadwork, here is a chance to learn something about it! Jim Verner, a native of Arizona, has been fascinated with prehistoric and historic beadwork since his youth. Throughout his life, Jim has honed his skills in beadwork, creating items such as small pouches, pipe bags, moccasins, and rifle cases.
The project for this class will be a small pouch with a simple design so attendees can get the feel of how to bead. Leather, needles, thread, and beads will be supplied and can be taken home to finish the beading. There will also be references for those who want to pursue beading. Register before December 31, 2018. Bead Workshop Flyer for more information.
