Brown Bag Lecture: Pathways: Uncovering the Connected Environmental Histories of the Southwest

12:15-1:00pm

Presented by: Professor Thomas Finger

Using the twin lenses of migration and environmental unpredictability, this talk will explore the patterns and pulses of Southwestern history through a series of connected stories across time.  Starting in Pre-Columbian times but emphasizing the nineteenth century, the talk will uncover how environmental change and migration sit at the heart of Southwestern history to this day.
