Please join us on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the Arizona Heritage Center for a FREE lecture with ASU Professor Emeritus David Berman. We will explore the life and career of one of Arizona’s most colorful politicians, Governor George Hunt. Hunt was president of the convention that produced the state’s first and only constitution, and became the state’s first governor, leading through several terms in the adoption of various progressive reforms and in the fight for Arizona’s right for water from the Colorado River.
