Chiricahua Regional Museum and Research Center is operated by the Sulphur Springs Valley Historical Society in Willcox. It features the history of the Chiricahua Apache from Cochise’s time through their time as prisoners of war and includes personal items of Cochise’s great granddaughter. Exhibits cover the story of the founding of the town, military history, cattle ranching, famous people, and outlaws. The Research Center houses exhibits, photos, newspapers from 1894, and archives of Willcox and the surrounding area of northern Cochise County.
